It's possible to rearrange the order of your catalog on your website. By strategically organizing your inventory, you can optimize customer engagement and drive sales. Placing best-selling or high-margin items at the top of your page can catch visitors' attention immediately, increasing the likelihood of conversion. Moreover, regularly refreshing your product lineup keeps your website dynamic and encourages repeat visits. By prioritizing products based on seasonal trends, promotions, or customer preferences, you can enhance the overall shopping experience and stay competitive in the online marketplace.
Note: Sorting of products is configured directly in Shopify. Please keep in mind all other specific product edits should be made in TopRental.
Manually sorting products
If you'd like to manually determine the order in which to sort products, here's how:
1. In the navigation area of your Shopify Dashboard, select the Products menu.
2. From the menu under Products that appears, select Collections. This opens a list of collections in your catalog.
3. Select the collection which you'd like to reorder.
4. In the Products section of the Collection, set the Sort: menu to "Manually". This disabled automated sorting and turns control over you.
5. Use the handles (six dots, highlighted in the image) next to each product to click and drag each item into the order in which you'd like it to appear.
