When is this required?
The automated, hourly export of product data configured for an integration depends upon accurate user credentials in the Compass scheduler. In the event the computer with Compass' add on re-starts, the scheduler task will be paused and the integration will also pause. You will need to set it up to run again following the steps below.
If yout credentials also change, Epicor Compass' scheduling tool must be provided with the updated username and password. Without working credentials, the scheduled export will stop working the moment the credentials stop working.
Guide
To provide a set of updated credentials to the Compass scheduler, follow these steps:
1. Open the Eagle Browser.
2. Open the Compass folder.
3. Select "Set Hosts".
4. Select the "Scheduler" tab.
5. On the right side of the scheduler tab, enter a working set of user credentials in the username and password fields.
6. Select OK, and OK again on the warning that appears.
7. Open "Set Hosts" and the "Scheduler" tab once more.
8. On the left side of the scheduler tab, ensure the scheduler status is "Running". If it is not, click the "Start" button. The status should update to "Running".
9. Select OK, and OK again on the warning that appears.
